Thai Industrial Standards Institute | Annual Report 2024 45 TISI has developed draft Thai Industrial Standards S (TIS.S) in response to the development of tourism industry in support of soft power policies, such as local guide service, historical and cultural tour service, and historical hotel and resort service. Climate change is one of the priorities of highest important in today’s world. Greenhouse gas emission reduction and transforming the Industrial Sector Towards carbon neutrality is the goal of many countries and organizations. To achieve it, application of new technologies, revision of manufacturing process, and sustainable change in management, are all essential. Industrial Sector transformation towards carbon neutrality also has a number of challenges such as high investment in developing clean technology in manufacturing process, lack of knowledge and skills required for the change, and the coordination between different sectors to support the environment improvements and structural change.
