In 2020, TISI has implemented the standard equivalents to EURO 5 and EURO 6, covering light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles, as requirements for manufacturers, importers, and stakeholders on pollution emission control in vehicles. Currently, TISI has enforced EURO 4 standard on motorcycles (with EURO 5 equivalent on development) and has implemented EURO 5 for light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles, in tandem with the Department of Energy Business enforcing requirements for fuel in accordance with EURO 5 on 1 January 2024 onward.
