Esestablish plans for the development of standardization organizations 2. Promote, develop, assign, and oversee standards developing organizations, inspection bodies, and certification bodies, as well as determining expenses in accordance with the law 3. Promote and develop Thai conformity assessment bodies and assign conformity assessment bodies in accordance with international agreements 4. Provide consultation and technical support to achieve agreements on conformity assessment with foreign organizations 5. Develop conformity assessment standards and more as assigned 4. Conduct conformity assessment and certification for conformity assessment bodies in accordance with the national standardization laws 5. O versee conformity assessment bodies and prevent and suppress offence of the national standardization laws 6. Participate in the development of standardson conformity assessment with international standards body, or as assigned 7. Act as a contact point for Thailand’s conformity assessment 8. Act as a contact point to provide comments and participate in standard activities relevant to conformity assessment with foreign organizations, regional standards bodies, and international standard bodies, to achieve mutual acceptance 9.
