Establish and develop TISI strategies to be in accordance with the Ministry of Industry strategies 2. Provide advises and consultation on driving strategies towards actions 3. Carry out Thailand’s obligations to World Trade Organization’s Technical Barriers to Trade Agreement and obligations to other foreign or international organization, and act as a focal point for notification on technical regulations and measures 3. Make agreements on technical cooperation or mutual recognition of standard conformity assessment, as well as carry out the obligations of the agreements 4. Provide assistance, negotiation, meeting facilitation and participation in negotiation with foreign organizations on standards 5. Carry out foreign relations activities to support internal organizations and export entrepreneurs, including translation of licences and certificate and provision of WPMI codes 6.
