On 15 July 2024, Mr. Wanchai Phanomchai, Secretary-General of TISI , with Mr. Weeraphong Iamjaroenchai , and TISI executives, welcomed the Ministry of Industry Inspectors-General, led by Mr. Ekanit Romyanon, Mr. Supphakit Bunsiri, and Mr. Settharach Luadsakul , to conduct the inspection of department level organizations under the Ministry of Industry for the fiscal year 2024. TISI executives reported on TISI operations, including response to the government policies, command of the Prime Minister, and Ministry of Industry policies, such as surveillance of uncertified products, standards development to keep up with the damans, the progress of ATTRIC establishment, raising awareness on standards, and integration with the Provincial Industrial Offices, and development of Community Product Standards (CPS) and Thai Industrial Standards S. (TIS.S) to support soft power and tourism. The inspection was conducted at the meeting room no. 230, TISI Building.
